When it came time to figure out where I wanted to visit when I went to Greece, I’d like to say it was a several months process of careful research and first hand interviewing of people who’ve been there. But really, it was simple. I saw a photo, felt the urge and immediately knew I needed to go to Meteora. It’s funny to think about how many times I’ve felt that urge and ignored it. It’s funny in a way that I’ll always wonder what I missed out on before I started letting my instinct tell me where to travel and go instead of letting a book or an Instagram blogger or a Buzzfeed article telling me what the “top

Clontarf Castle Location: 10 minutes outside of Dublin, Ireland Review: Ten out of ten pretend prince or princesses sleeping in a castle đź‘‘ When I first heard of Clontarf Castle researching my trip to Dublin, I did an eye roll picturing a sort of Medieval Times-esque monstrosity meant to lure in unsuspecting fantasy fans to a fraudulent experience of cheesy decor and potentially, even worse costuming inside. When I started planning my first trip to Salt Lake City I already know I was going to try skiiing for the first time. It seemed like a missed opportunity if I didn’t, to go someplace with the “greatest snow on earth” and not at least try something that would allow me to really experience the city I was in to the fullest, the way both locals and tourist alike did. It was part of the reason I loved traveling. And honestly honestly from the moment I landed in Salt Lake City, I was blown away by its beautiful. As soon as I got off the plane, I felt like I could jump out and touch the clouds and was

Lately without realizing it, I got stuck in a rut. This daily grind of chasing my dreams in the same order every day, down to when I had breakfast, when I worked out, when I had “reading time”, etc. My entire life planned including the weekends which had morphed into only forced scheduled relaxation time filled with spa appointments and dinner reservations. Schedules tracked my every move with any empty spaces on my calendar leaving just a bit of glimpse of uncertainty before usually getting filled quickly throughout the week. And there’s nothing wrong with that, of course. I always say anything you want in life is achievable through consistency, through showing up every day until you get it, put

I believe in finding inspiration, wherever you’re at – whether it’s where you are or where you’re going or visiting, in this case. And more importantly, if you have a nudge to do something or explore somewhere, you should do it and you’ll likely find yourself growing in ways you hadn’t expected to because of listening to that instinct… When I was visiting Miami, there was a number of things I wanted to do but most were pretty standard (read a good book by the pool and eat some good seafood.) But I knew I couldn’t live myself if I didn’t at least try to do something I couldn’t do at a beach town anywhere. So, when I was browsing
